Field Day
May 25, 2010 marked our first annual Harvest Preparatory School Field Day. It was organized by Joy Hughes, a HPS teacher's assistant, with all of the fundamental activities that make a field day so much fun. The children ran, jumped, hopped, and even skipped throughout the day. Activities included were the relay races, sack races, jump rope, water balloon games, and even an old fashion slip-n-slide was included in the afternoon events. There was a special appearance from Snappy Tomato with Snappy Pizza located in Vine Grove. Baskin Robbins scooped out the cookies and cream for all those present. Chic-fil-a also sweetened the day with their famous ice tea. Parents, teachers, and staff helped make this a successful event for the children of HPS.
